Phlebology

We treat venous disorders such as varicose veins, spider veins, or heavy legs using modern diagnostics and effective procedures. These include conservative, surgical, and minimally invasive therapies.

Skin cancer screening

Regular skin checks can be crucial. We offer thorough preventative examinations with classic dermatoscopy and AI-assisted analysis using the FotoFinder-System.

Laser therapy

Treatment with modern laser systems is now an indispensable part of dermatology. In our practice, we utilize various laser technologies to precisely and gently remove skin lesions or visibly improve the complexion. This includes treatments for pigmentation disorders, dilated capillaries, scars, warts, and age spots. We also regularly perform aesthetic procedures such as fractional laser treatments for skin rejuvenation. Each therapy is individually tailored to your skin type and desired outcome. We place great emphasis on precision, tolerability, and minimal downtime.

Allergology

Allergies can significantly impact daily life, especially when the triggers remain unclear. In our practice, we offer comprehensive allergy diagnostics, including skin tests and specific blood analyses. This allows us to reliably diagnose pollen allergies, contact allergies, food intolerances, and occupational allergies. Based on the results, we will work with you to develop an individualized treatment plan. This may include medication as well as long-term therapies such as desensitization. Our goal is to effectively alleviate your symptoms and noticeably improve your daily life.

Occupational dermatology

The skin is the most frequently affected organ in occupational diseases. Whether in nursing, construction, or hairdressing – many professions expose the skin to irritating substances or physical stresses on a continuous basis. As a certified occupational dermatology practice, we offer comprehensive care for suspected occupational diseases. This includes diagnostics, documentation for the employers' liability insurance association, as well as therapy and prevention. We support you throughout the entire process and help you protect your skin in the long term and remain able to work. Training courses and individual consultations are also part of our approach.

Modern wound therapy

Chronic wounds represent a significant burden for many people. They are often caused by venous diseases, diabetes, or other underlying conditions. In our practice, we combine various modern wound care methods, such as specialized dressing techniques, vacuum therapy, and the use of medical cold plasma. Our goal is to specifically promote wound healing, prevent infections, and alleviate pain. Through close collaboration with other medical specialties, we can provide comprehensive care for complex wound situations and address your individual needs. We will reliably support you throughout the entire healing process.

Tumor surgery

The surgical removal of skin tumors is also part of our practice's service portfolio. We treat both benign skin lesions and tumors such as basal cell carcinomas and squamous cell carcinomas. We pay particular attention to the complete removal of the lesion while simultaneously achieving the most aesthetically pleasing result possible, especially for procedures on the face or other visible areas of the body. Thanks to our many years of experience in dermatologic surgery, many procedures can be performed on an outpatient basis without hospitalization. Follow-up care is provided closely, professionally, and with great care. We also perform two-stage procedures. This means that the tumors are removed in the first operation, and the donor site is temporarily closed with a dressing for a few days. At the practice of Prof. Dr. Klaus Griewank, the surgical margins are examined three-dimensionally for any remaining tumor cells, and the wound is only treated with complex flap procedures after the histological findings are available. This is an extremely precise and tissue-sparing surgical procedure and can be performed entirely on an outpatient basis, without the need for hospitalization.

Primary care physician referral process

Due to high demand, we offer a walk-in consultation for acute venous disorders such as leg pain, swelling, or suspected thrombosis. Please note that this consultation is intended exclusively for urgent cases. As the number of available slots is limited, we may not be able to treat you on the same day. Appointments for subsequent days are not possible during the walk-in consultation.

If you need an appointment quickly, we recommend using the GP referral procedure. In this case, please have your GP refer you directly to us. We reserve specific time slots daily for such cases – so you can usually be seen within one to three working days. You can obtain information about our current open consultation hours by phone, email, or via notices posted in our practice.
